Increase the pressure only until it is very difficult to stop the wire from feeding out of the contact tip. Use a pliers or block of wood to try and stop the wire from feeding. Go perhaps one-half of a turn beyond this point.I have a Lincoln 135 Pro that I use all the time for sheetmetal. Works great, on the smaller stuff no problem. If you have the power, and the dough, go bigger, but if you have a 1927 house like me, with 120 wiring, its a good machine. It usually feeds OK but every once in a while it will go in fits and starts. The problem is usually too much pressure on the nut (maybe a wing nut) that holds the wire spool in place.
